ANNOUNCEMENTS, CROCKER CHRISTIAN CHURCH:
Attendance April 20: AM Service: 178 Sunday School: 65
Kingdom Kids, our children’s ministry, is held after the communion service, just before the morning message. Kingdom Kids do not meet on the first Sunday of the month in order for families to worship together. Children in kindergarten and first grade meet downstairs for service. Children in grades 2-5 meet in room 200 upstairs. The children’s services are for all children grades K-5. There is no children’s service on the first Sunday of each month, which is Family Day.
Food Pantry Items: Sealed Meats (Chicken, Tuna, etc.)
New Sermon Series: On Sunday, April 27, Terry will begin a new sermon series entitled “Running the Race”. This four-week series examines scriptures in which Paul uses running and athletic metaphors to describe the life of faith. Faith is not a place in which we stand still and everything comes to us. When Jesus calls, He calls us to a life of action, activity and purpose.
Ladies Quilting Group: The ladies quilting group will meet again on April 30, from 0900-1200. See the sign-up sheet in the foyer for more information, or to join us (or just show up). See Barbara O’Barr to help. The group is making quilts for missions and missionaries.
Wednesday night meals are held from 5:30-6:15 p.m. each week, followed by Bible Study for all ages at 6:30. The Wednesday meals will conclude for the summer at the end of April. Meals will resume in the fall.
Meal coordinators: Ricky and Britney Rembold, Amanda Boberg or Claudia Herd. There are sign-up sheets in the foyer with details on how to help, with specific information about what is needed for each week. Thank you for helping to provide meals on Wednesday nights during the school year.
30 Pieces of Silver Offering: This year’s special Easter offering was $3722. This year’s offering will go to Jamie and Kenny Peterson to help with medical expenses. The Easter offering has been active for several weeks, and the total given throughout those weeks is in addition to the amount given on Easter Sunday.
Leadership meetings will be held on Monday, April 29, at 6:30 p.m.
Springfest, originally scheduled for April 25-26 for grades 4 through 6, has been canceled.
On May 4, the adult Sunday School Classes will vote for “Mother of the Year”. We will recognize all mothers on Mother’s Day, which is May 11.
Our next all-church meal is May 4, immediately following the worship service. The pulled pork will be provided by the church. Please bring a side dish or dessert to complete the meal. Everyone is encouraged to join us, because all are welcome!
The annual trip to Mennonite Country is scheduled for Monday, May 5. We will leave the church at 8 a.m. We will stop for lunch. Please sign up in the foyer if you plan to go with us.
May 18 is graduate recognition day. If you know of a high school or college student who is graduating, please contact the church office with their name, school of graduation, and future plans. We would also like a baby picture and a graduation/recent picture. Please have the pictures to us by May 4. We will have a table set up in the foyer for parents to create a memories board in honor of their graduate.

If you are interested in giving to the church electronically rather than with cash or checks, please see Rick Burnett or see someone in the church office for assistance.
If you would like to receive notifications of prayer requests or reminders of upcoming events, please put your cell phone number on the back of the tear off sheet on the bulletin and turn it in. We will gladly add you to our “remind” list. Remind does not accept land lines.
Please be in prayer for all of those listed on the prayer list on the back of our weekly bulletin.
