ANNOUNCEMENTS, CROCKER CHRISTIAN CHURCH:

Attendance January 5: No services due to inclement weather

Kingdom Kids, our children’s ministry, is held after the communion service, just before the morning message. Kingdom Kids do not meet on the first Sunday of the month in order for families to worship together. Children in kindergarten and first grade meet downstairs for service. Children in grades 2-5 meet in room 200 upstairs. The children’s services are for all children grades K-5.

January Food Pantry Items: Soups and Crackers

Thank you to all who participated in and attended our Christmas Ever Candlelight Service. The service conveyed the real truth and spirit of Christmas. We had a large crowd in attendance, and it was a meaningful celebration of Christ’s birth.

Wednesday night meals will not be held again until January 8. We will have Bible study at 6:30 p.m. on December 18, but not on December 25 or January 1. Meals and classes resume on January 8. Meal: 5:30-6:15, followed by Bible study classes for all ages at 6:30.

Cooking help needed: We need people to help cook/provide meals on Wednesday nights. If you can help by fixing a meal, please sign the sheet on the table in the foyer.

We need people, also, who are willing to help provide desserts for our Wednesday night meals. If f you can help by providing a dessert for a meal, please sign the list in the foyer.

Meal coordinators: Ricky and Britney Rembold, Amanda Boberg or Claudia Herd, There are sign up sheets in the foyer with details on how to help, with specific information about what is needed for each week. Thank you for helping to provide meals on Wednesday nights during the school year.

Secret Sister Lunch: On January 19, immediately after worship, we will meet in the gym for a light lunch and to draw names for Secret Sisters. This is open to all ladies who are high school age and up. This is a fun way to get to know other gals in the church that you might not know very well. It is meant to be an encouraging group that can offer prayers and little gifts of encouragement. Please sign the list in the foyer for what you plan to bring for the luncheon.

There will be a work day at the Waynesville Christian Church on January 18, beginning at 9:00 a.m. The focus will be on helping them clean the building. We hope that you will plan to join us help out a sister church.
