ANNOUNCEMENTS, CROCKER CHRISTIAN CHURCH:

Service times: Sunday school: 9:30 a.m. Worship service: 10:30 a.m. We have a meal before Bible Study every Wednesday night. The meals run from 5:30-6:15, with Bible classes for all ages following at 6:30. Everyone is welcome to join us on Wednesday nights.

Our worship service is streamed each week on YouTube.

Kingdom Kids, our children’s ministry for grades K-5, is held after the communion service, just before the morning message. Kingdom Kids do not meet on the first Sunday of the month in order for families to worship together. Children in kindergarten and first grade meet downstairs for service. Children in grades 2-5 meet in room 200 upstairs.

We will have a church workday on October 24 at 1:00 p.m. to clean up the set behind the church for the “Journey to Bethlehem”. We need people to cut/pull weeds, clean up the sets, paint the wall, etc. Diane Foster will have a sign-up sheet in the foyer on October 18.

Faith Promise: October is our mission emphasis month known as “Faith Promise”. During this month, we encourage all who wish to give to missions to fill our a promise card stating the amount they wish to give for missions for the coming year. We will have 2 guest speakers during October. We will tally the total amount on October 25. Last year’s amount promised was over $70,000. Please be in prayer for the Lord to guide us through Faith Promise month, that we might help to take the saving message of Christ to others, and to meet the important needs of people at home and around the world.

Our final Faith Promise apeaker of the month will be Aryn Tanksley from Rapha House, a child rescue mission serving to help young girls from being sold and used by sex traffickers. The Rapha House is a safe haven where they can learn various ways of making a living and where they can recover from abuse. Aryn will be speaking only during the Sunday school hour to the adult Sunday school classes.

We will have a Faith Promise Carry-In dinner on October 25 following the tally of promises made for 2027. Please join us for the dinner as we give thanks and fellowship together.

CIY (Christ in Youth) event registration is now open. Please see Jonathan Haggard if you are interested in sending your child to MIX, MOVE, or SUPERSTART. Information is on the bulletin board in the foyer. Contact Jonathan if you have questions.

Leadership Meetings: Church leadership meetings are on Monday, October 26. The elders will meet at 6:30 p.m. The elders and deacons will meet together at 7:30.

A Ladies’ Game Night is scheduled for Friday, October 30 at 6:00 p.m. at church. Bring a favorite snack, enjoy food and fellowship, and learn how to make preservative-free staple mixes.

The church is participating in Crocker’s “Trunk or Treat”on October 31, from 5:00-9:00 p.m. along Commercial Street in downtown Crocker. We need candy or donations of money to purchase candy for this event. Thank you in advance for your help.

The annual Ladies’ Sock Party is scheduled for December 4 here at church. More information will be available as the date approaches. Ladies, make plans to attend on December 4.

Our annual “Journey to Bethlehem” presentation is scheduled for December 11-12. Please be in prayer for the “Journey”, for those who are participating in it in any way, and for those who attend, that they may be blessed by the message of the “Journey to Bethlehem.”
