On June 8, the adult Sunday school classes will vote on “Father of the Year”. Father’s Day is June 15. We will recognize all fathers on that Sunday.
Christian love and sympathy are extended to Mary Wall and family in the passing of her son Mark. We pray that God will comfort you with His loving peace.
We give thanks: Daniel Roderick was baptized by Bro. Terry on May 25. We rejoice with his decision and pray for him as he begins a new life in Christ. Welcome, Daniel, to the family of God.
Kingdom Kids, our children’s ministry, is held after the communion service, just before the morning message. Kingdom Kids do not meet on the first Sunday of the month in order for families to worship together. Children in kindergarten and first grade meet downstairs for service. Children in grades 2-5 meet in room 200 upstairs. The children’s services are for all children grades K-5. There is no children’s service on the first Sunday of each month, which is Family Day.
Food Pantry Items: Flour, Sugar, Salt
Ladies Quilting Group: All ladies are welcome to join us as we work on quilts for missions—no sewing experience is necessary. If you know of anyone who is cleaning out their sewing materials, please keep us in mind as we are looking for donations of cotton fabric, thread, backing, and 2 good working sewing machines. For questions, see the quilting sign-up sheet in the foyer or phone contacts. Hope to have you with us soon. We meet every other Sunday in room 200 off the main lbby.
New Sermon Series: Terry’s sermon series begins on June 22. As we begin to look at another summer, we want to kick it off with a sermon series entitled “Greatest Summer Ever!” This 4-week series looks at Jesus’ lessons on greatness and encourages us to seek opportunities to be “great” in the kingdom by serving, loving and following the examples of our humble King.
Terry would like your help with the summer sermon series coming up in June. He would your help in decorating the stage by borrowing beach balls, a kiddy pool (or larger pool) pool noodles and other items that we associate with the summer. If you can help, please see Terry.
Camp Help: Our church’s day to provide workers to help in the camp kitchen is July 23. The camp has requested no more than 3-4 people. The workers will help prepare lunch and clean up afterwards. If you would like to help, please sign up in the foyer.
We also need 8 cantaloupes for the campers’ lunch.
Reminder: There are no meals on Wednesday nights until fall. Wednesday Bible Study for all ages will continue, beginning at 6:30.

Christ in Youth, or CIY, a national Christian Conference for teens, will be held on July 19-25. It is an amazing conference which can be life-changing. It is a spiritual experience with teaching, great music and preaching, and time for contemplation and fun activities. Please see Dustin Moss if you are interested in attending.
Vacation Bible school is not until August 10-13, but it takes a lot of preparation and dedicated people to help. If you would like to help with VBS, sign your name on the short form on the insert in the bulletin and put it in one of the offering boxes or give it to Sherry Campise.
