Kingdom Kids, our children’s ministry, is held after the communion service, just before the morning message. Kingdom Kids do not meet on the first Sunday of the month in order for families to worship together. Children in kindergarten and first grade meet downstairs for service. Children in grades 2-5 meet in room 200 upstairs. The children’s services are for all children grades K-5. There is no children’s service on the first Sunday of each month, which is Family Day.

Spring Forward: Remember to set your clocks ahead one hour on March 8. Daylight Savings Time begins in the early morning hours of March 9.

Wednesday night meals are held from 5:30-6:15 p.m. each week, followed by Bible Study for all ages at 6:30. This week’s meal is four kinds of soup, soup accompaniments, drinks and dessert.

Cooking help needed: We need people to help cook/provide meals on Wednesday nights. If you can help by fixing a meal, please sign the sheet on the table in the foyer.

We need people, also, who are willing to help provide desserts for our Wednesday night meals. If f you can help by providing a dessert for a meal, please sign the dessert list in the foyer.

Meal coordinators: Ricky and Britney Rembold, Amanda Boberg or Claudia Herd. There are sign-up sheets in the foyer with details on how to help, with specific information about what is needed for each week. Thank you for helping to provide meals on Wednesday nights during the school year.

On March 8, Crocker Christian Church Women’s Day will be held at the church, beginning at 10:00 a.m. It will feature Darla Noble, a wife, mom, grandmother and friend who has been sharing Jesus for nearly 40 years. Darla is an author, and a speaker who shares God’s word in ways we can all relate to. The program is from 10:00-11:30, with lunch following. Please sign up in the foyer or contact Penny Wells for more information.

The teens will be going to the Young Christian Weekend in Branson on April 4-6. The cost is $55 if you have a season pass; without a season pass, the cost is $130. Money and permission slips need to be returned to Dustin or Ashley Moss by March 9.

The Missouri Christian Convention is March 14-15 at the Lake of the Ozarks. Registration is now open for the convention at mcconvention.org. Go to “register here” and fill out the information. The cost is $10 (a reduced cost). To get the reduced cost, click on “register here” and apply code CP25. Speakers include Mont Mitchell, Randy Garriss, Tim Harlow and Jonathan Storment. There are also activities for children and teens.

The annual all-church birthday dinner will be held on March 22 at 6:00 p.m. Please join us as we celebrate the birthdays of everyone in the church.

Baby Dedication Day: As part of our celebration service, we will have “baby dedication day” on March 23. If you have a child who was born between March 2024 and this March, or if you are new to Crocker Christian Church with a child 2 years old or younger and would like to dedicate your child, please turn in your name, the child’s full name and date of birth to the office by March 9. We will recognize these young people and their parents on that day.

Terry will begin his Easter series on Sunday, March 16. This is a great time to invite family, friends and neighbors to join you for church. Did you know that Easter and Christmas are the 2 time a year that people are more receptive to an invitation to church? So, invite someone to join you for our Easter service.

On March 26, there will be an organizational meeting for anyone interested in being a part of a quilting/sewing group . This group will be making quilts for missions and missionaries. Contact Barbara O’Barr at 520-400-2077.

Our annual “30 Pieces of Silver” offering will be taken on April 20. Please begin praying now about what God would have you give. This Easter offering is above and beyond your normal general and missions giving.

Springfest, for grades 4-6, will be held at Gasconade Christian Service Camp on April 25-26. The early registration cost before April 14 is $40; after that date, the cost is $50. Love Offering: If you would like to give to Jamie and Kenny Peterson to help with their medical and travel expenses, you may do so by noting “Love Offering” on the memo line of your check or offering envelope. If you have any questions, please see one of the elders.
