ANNOUNCEMENTS, CROCKER CHRISTIAN CHURCH:

Attendance May11: AM Service: 205 Sunday School: 72

All service times: Sunday school: 9:30 a.m. Worship service: 10:30 Wednesday Bible Study for all ages: 6:30 p.m.

Our worship service is streamed each week on YouTube.

Christian love and sympathy are extended to Lisa and Kent Moss, and to Dustin, Philip and families, in the passing of Lisa’s father, Gene Babcock. We pray that you will be comforted by the knowledge that God has brought him to his beautiful new and eternal home.

Mother recognition: All mothers were recognized on May 11. Kay York was chosen by the Sunday school classes as Mother of the Year. Congratulations and God bless you. We give thanks for all Christian mothers for their devotion to God and family.

Kingdom Kids, our children’s ministry, is held after the communion service, just before the morning message. Kingdom Kids do not meet on the first Sunday of the month in order for families to worship together. Children in kindergarten and first grade meet downstairs for service. Children in grades 2-5 meet in room 200 upstairs. The children’s services are for all children grades K-5. There is no children’s service on the first Sunday of each month, which is Family Day.

Food Pantry Items: Boxed Potatoes

New Sermon Series: Terry’s sermon series, “Run the Race”, examines scriptures in which Paul uses running and athletic metaphors to describe the life of faith. Faith is not a place in which we stand still and everything comes to us. When Jesus calls, He calls us to a life of action, activity and purpose.

Congratulations to all of the graduating class of Crocker High School. We will recognize our high school and college graduates on May 18 during our morning worship service.

The Crocker High School baccalaureate service is Friday, May 16, at 6:00 p.m. in the Crocker High School gymnasium.

The Crocker High School graduation ceremony is Sunday, May 18, at 3:00 p.m. in the Crocker High School gymnasium. Congratulations and God bless each of you as you begin a new chapter in your lives.

Ladies Quilting Group: The ladies quilting group meetings this month are May 14 and 28, from 9am-12pm. All ladies are welcome-no sewing experience is necessary. If you know of anyone who is cleaning out their sewing materials, please keep us in mind as we are looking for donations of cotton fabric, thread, backing, and 2 good working sewing machines. For questions, see the quilting sign-up sheet in the foyer or phone contacts. Hope to have you with us soon.

Reminder: There are no meals on Wednesday nights until fall. Wednesday Bible Study for all ages will continue, beginning at 6:30.
