If you are interested in going on the Arizona Mission Trip this summer, please attend a short meeting immediately after the morning service on February 16. The meeting will take about 10 minutes and is just to check on the head count. If you are interested in going on the mission trip, please attend this short meeting.
The youth will attend a night of worship with camp friends on February 22. It is scheduled from 6:30-8:00 p.m. They will leave from church at 6:00 p.m.
The Free Women’s Center of Pulaski County is participating in “Missouri’s Biggest Baby Shower”. There is a table near the church office to place items needed by the center. Their work is important, and much of it depends on donations of items necessary for providing for the needs of women and babies.
Offering envelopes are on the table in the church foyer. If you don’t see your envelopes there, see Rick Burnett for general offering or Jim Wells for mission offering envelopes.
Terry will begin a short sermon series on February 23 entitled “Old Timers”. For this series, he is looking for some old black and white portraits. If doesn’t matter if they are framed or not, but the bigger they are, the better. If you have any questions or can help, please see Terry.
On March 8, Crocker Christian Church Women’s Day will be held at the church, beginning at 10:00 a.m. It will feature Darla Noble, a wife, mom, grandmother and friend who has been sharing Jesus for nearly 40 years. Darla is an author, and a speaker who shares God’s word in ways we can all relate to. The program is from 10:00-11:30, with lunch following. Please sign up in the foyer or contact Penny Wells for more information.
The Missouri Christian Convention is March 14-15 at the Lake of the Ozarks. You may register online at the Missouri Christian Convention website. Or simply type in “Missouri Christian Convention” and it will direct you to the registration page. Registration is now open for the convention.
The annual all-church birthday dinner will be held on March 22 at 6:00 p.m. Please join us as we celebrate the birthdays of everyone in the church.
Baby Dedication Day: As part of our celebration service, we will have “baby dedication day” on March 23. If you have a child who was born between March 2024 and this March, or if you are new to Crocker Christian Church with a child 2 years old or younger and would like to dedicate your child, please turn in your name, the child’s full name and date of birth to the office by March 9. We will recognize these young people and their parents on that day.
Our first Sunday all-church lunches will resume on February 2. We will have fried chicken. We ask that everyone bring a dessert or side to complete the meal. Please plan to join us for a great morning of food and fellowship.
